Frequently asked questions

Answers about Mitrend Digital website, ecommerce, inventory workflow, digital marketing and partner-support services.

Websites, ecommerce and marketing

Do you build generic brochure websites?
We build conversion-focused websites where the offer, proof, enquiry path and measurement plan are part of the scope. A simple site may be appropriate, but it still needs a clear commercial job.

Do you work with existing WooCommerce sites?
Yes. We can audit and improve an existing store, including product structure, checkout, payments, delivery rules, performance, SEO and accounting or stock handovers.

How long does a project take?
Timing depends on scope, content readiness, integrations and approval speed. We agree milestones and acceptance checks before implementation rather than promising a generic duration.

How do you use AI in client work?
AI can assist with product attributes, content drafts, enquiry triage, exception summaries, testing notes and handover packs. Human approval remains in place for finance, pricing and customer communication.

Inventory and implementation support

Do you implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?
No. Mitrend Digital does not replace a licensed ERP implementation partner. We provide defined support around ecommerce, inventory data, workflow documentation, user-acceptance testing and handover where that fits the project.

Do you work with Xero and QuickBooks?
We can assess inventory and ecommerce handovers involving Xero or QuickBooks, document requirements and help prepare data or workflows. Final accounting configuration remains subject to the responsible accountant or implementation provider.

Do you handle data migration?
We support bounded migration tasks such as templates, cleanup rules, exception handling and verification. The scope identifies who owns extraction, transformation, approval and final import.

What is hypercare?
Hypercare is a focused support period after launch. Issues are logged, prioritised and resolved while the team builds confidence in the new workflow.

Partner delivery and commercial scope

What is partner overflow support?
It is behind-the-scenes delivery capacity for agreed tasks such as migration templates, UAT packs, training notes, issue logs and hypercare trackers. The implementation partner retains the client relationship and solution ownership.

Do you offer white-label services?
Yes, where responsibilities, confidentiality and the acceptance process are documented in advance.

Do you handle bookkeeping or CIPC work?
No. Bookkeeping, statutory submissions, business plans and accounting administration should be handled by the appropriate accountant or professional adviser.

How is pricing determined?
Pricing follows the defined outcome, deliverables, dependencies and risk. Current package ranges are shown on the pricing page, with a specific quote after discovery.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

The decision in one sentence

The right Mitrend recommendation depends on the current customer journey, data quality, platform ownership and the acceptance check needed next. These questions explain how to choose a useful first step without treating a generic package or word count as the answer.

Choose this route when

  • You are deciding whether to rebuild, connect or simplify the current system.
  • You want to understand what the client or internal team must provide.
  • You need a clear route from a website or store problem to a bounded action.
  • You want limitations and evidence requirements stated before delivery.

What the system needs to make true

Decision areaWhat Mitrend checks
QuestionThe answer should be specific to the buyer, workflow and decision stage.
EvidenceA page, order, record, screenshot or test that supports the recommendation.
Next actionA scoped review, build, data cleanup or handover with an owner.

How the work moves from diagnosis to handover

  1. Start with the FAQ closest to the current commercial or operational constraint.
  2. Follow the linked service, industry, resource or proof route for deeper detail.
  3. Bring a real example to the review so assumptions can be separated from evidence.
  4. Choose a bounded next action and define how the team will know it worked.

What to verify before you invest

  • Does the answer match the visible service and current site capability?
  • Are platform, tax, legal and payment assumptions labelled for verification?
  • Is the next step appropriate for awareness, consideration or implementation?
  • Does the answer avoid a promise that cannot be substantiated?

Evidence to bring into the review

Use this page as a decision map, then bring the specific question, URL, workflow or record that needs a practical answer.

Questions buyers usually ask

Should I start with a service or a resource? Start with a service when the problem is already clear; use a resource when you need decision criteria.

How much content does a page need? Enough to answer the task, show evidence and support the next action; there is no universal word quota.

What happens after the first enquiry? Mitrend reviews context, confirms the next practical step and scopes only what can be accepted.

Choose the next practical step

Bring the current website, store or workflow and one real example. The review should leave you with a bounded next action, not a generic channel list.
